On lazy afternoons kick back in the large sitting rooms which open onto a shady front porch. In the mornings, a full breakfast is cheerfully served in the dining room. Owner, Jim King, has filled the Inn with a collection of art and furnishings from his many travels. He has fashioned a comfortable and elegant retreat; a place for relaxation and renewal among nature's wonders.
Other Amenities: Built in 1904 as a sea captain's home, the Inn derives its name from the graceful linden trees that line the front lawn. The historic inn features nine guest rooms with private baths, covered porches, pool and hot tub. The Lindenwood is situated in the heart of Southwest Harbor, just a short stroll to the village center. The hiking trails of Acadia National Park are within walking distance.
