Since 1897, the Lawnmere Inn, a quiet refuge on the Samoset River, has welcomed guests from far and near. The 30 room inn is tucked into a secluded inlet with magnificent views of the water. Cheerful yellow shutters and flower boxes overflowing with brilliant blooms greet you just as they have done for over 100 years. You'll start your day with a complimentary country breakfast featuring wild Maine blueberry pancakes, our famous corned beef hash, homemade granola and much more. The Lawnmere Inn is your gateway to miles of scenic country roads and varying coastline. Hop on one of the inn's bicycles for a hassle-free trip to town, or check out the harbor seals and osprey from one of our kayaks. Of course, an Adirondack chair will be waiting for you when you return!
