Description: The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm, a Charlottesville, VA bed and breakfast, was founded serendipitously by owners Dick and Hayden Cabell. Serendipity - making fortunate discoveries accidentally. It was serendipity and their love of the mountains that led Dick and Hayden to Sugar Hollow in the spring of 1994 when they purchased a 70-acre parcel of land the day after it went on the market. It was soon to become the home of the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. Dick, a former manufacturing executive and Hayden, a Spanish and French teacher, decided, since their sons had graduated from college, that it was time for a career change - as Dick says, Monty Python's expression applies, "And now for something completely different!
