Description: The Hound & Hare is situated in the village of Cayuga Heights, close (one mile) to historic Cornell University and a few minutes drive to either beautiful Cayuga Lake or shopping centers of the City of Ithaca!! The Hound & Hare is elegantly decorated in a tasteful Queen Anne style; a delightful ambiance for rest and relaxation. Time seems to stand still at the Hound & Hare. Come inside and experience the charm and grace of another era. Tastefully decorated with heirlooms, antiques, laces, brass beds, with fresh flowers for your pleasure.
For your relaxation, the guest living room is complete with fireplace, where we serve tea. There also is a cozy library with games and music. After you have settled in, come and join me for afternoon tea and crumpets! The guest rooms are resplendent with fluffy down comforters, eyelet sheets and down pillows, to enfold you in warmth of yesteryear. Ask for the bridal suite with Jacuzzi.
Other Amenities: The spacious bedrooms are named after my daughters, They are Valerie, Victoria, Vanessa & Christina (no room for Carolina right now). The boys were quite relieved when I ran out of bedrooms!! These guest rooms (queen, double, twin) are resplendent with down pillows, eyelet sheets, and fluffy down comforters to enfold you in the warmth of yesteryear.
