Description: For a romantic retreat into another era, step back in time to the age of steamships in the inland water port of Jefferson, Texas. Claiborne House was built as a single family home in 1872 by Captain V. H. Claiborne. A modified Greek Revival design with a front gabled roof, The Claiborne House features two 40 foot porches on each side.
