Description: View the lodge's 62 scenic acres of woods and meadows from the double deck, wrap around porch or large outdoor hot tub! Bird watchers enjoy the many varieties of birds on the property throughout the year.
The Buffalo River Lodge offers luxury accommodations with a romantic atmosphere, in the country near the "Buffalo National River" in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. The lodge is a three level, 6,000 square foot log structure containing five guest suites, great room with huge stone fireplace, dining room and a library/TV/game room in the spacious loft area.
All suites are spacious and have private baths and king or queen size beds. Honeymoon/Anniversary suites with 2 person jacuzzi tubs are available. Rates range from $79 to $124 per night and include full breakfast daily. Dinners are served on Saturday evenings with advance reservation. Special Honeymoon and Get-away Packages are available!
Innkeeper/Owners Dan and Beth Powers cater to couples looking for a "romantic get-away" in the Ozark Mountains and to floaters of the nearby Buffalo National River. Our bed and breakfast is not designed for children under 10.
Other Amenities: The major attraction in the area is the crystal clear, Buffalo National River and the activities in and around it. The entire length of the river is a national park. There are four canoe outfitters in the Buffalo Point area to assist you. The river is floatable year round in this area. There are many excellent hiking trails within the park. The Buffalo River Lodge is located 2.4 miles from North Maumee Landing, one of the major canoe input locations on the river. Contacts for canoe outfitters and fishing guide services are available.
