Description: Welcome to the home of Stony Point Bed & Breakfast. Stony Point features a large stone home, which offers a dining room, living room, with fireplace, library and five bedrooms. It is surrounded by ten acres of wooded land for hiking and includes a natural scenic wonder Stony Point from which you may view the surrounding community and valley. Stony Point Bed & Breakfast is within 30 minutes of the Pennsylvania State University and Altoona. There are abundant historic sites, recreational areas, academic institutions, restaurants and other activities all within easy driving distance of our guests. With a great location and a relaxing place to stay, we welcome you to Stony Point!
Stony Point is especially good for animal lovers. Not only are the woods around our home full of song birds, turkey and deer, but we have several wonderful pets. Our dog Piper will greet you at our door with a wagging tail and a joyful bark. We also have two cats, Hobo and Max, but they are rather timid souls that you'll be lucky to see even once while visiting. They stay on the third floor with the innkeepers. None of our pets enter the guest rooms for cleanliness sake and out of concern for allergies.
Other Amenities: All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Each room is provided with daily fresh towels, Gardner’s candies, a clock radio, flashlight, and other amenities chosen specifically for our guests. The rooms that share a bath are provided with robes, to ease your comfort in walking to the bathroom at the end of the hallway.
