Description: Our nicely renovated old Monhegan home is located 150 feet from the water's edge and enjoys a beautiful ocean view. We are within easy walking distance of the wharf, stores, restaurants, art galleries, and trails leading to the headlands. Our home contains non-smoking housekeeping efficiency apartments and rooms. A spacious ocean view common room with library, games, and wood stove is available to all our guests. We manage privately owned cottages throughout the island. These are fully equipped homes that vary a great deal as to condition and amenities provided. Weekly minimum stay required. Please call for reservations or questions.
Other Amenities: All of our accommodations have private baths (with shower) and our apartments have fully equipped kitchens. We serve an ample continental breakfast every morning (May 1 through Columbus Day) consisting of fresh baked muffins made with fruit from our own gardens, bagels, juice, milk, hot and cold cereals, coffees, teas, and fresh fruit. Our front and back yards have flower gardens, lawn furniture, picnic tables, and outdoor cooking facilities. We are open all year with gas heat provided during the colder months and special off season rates. Copy and Fax services are available. A public phone is on the premises. Children are welcome provided they are well supervised. Sorry, no pets.
