Description: You're invited to enjoy the old world charm of our historic country inn and restaurant, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, just minutes from Cornell University, Ithaca College & Wells College, and just five miles north of Ithaca. The Inn is on the Cayuga Wine Trail and just minutes from State Parks on Cayuga Lake, Buttermilk Falls, and many gorges - also nearby, just a 10 minute drive, the world class Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, nurseries, art & antiques. Built in 1830, the Inn has retained much of its original woodwork, pressed tin ceilings, and elaborate chestnut wainscoted ceilings. The Inn is a bed and breakfast and all guest rooms have recently been renovated with a graceful blend of period antiques and modern conveniences. We serve dinner and cocktails nightly- Relax in one of our dining rooms or pub and indulge in our country inn comfort food - original entrees with quality local, Pride of NY, ingredients: slow roasted prime rib, poached salmon with wilted greens & caramelized onions, roasted rack of lamb with garlic & rosemary - and save room for our homemade desserts like apple crisp & wild berry cobbler - all accompanied by New York State wines and 12 imported and NY micro brewed draughts. Seasonal outdoor dining is available on our veranda and the pub features live music every Thursday evening.
