Description: Welcome, welcome to Robin's Nest. We have seven guest rooms, all with private baths, two with whirlpools. We've had write ups in Time Magazine, Houston Press (Voted Best B & B 2002), Houston Chronicle, Texas Highways, Texas Monthly, Houston Press, etc. Houston hotel accommodations are typically very good. However, once a good bed and breakfast has been discovered, it typically offers the guest more. Robin's Nest is an 1898 Victorian and a 1920s Craftsman setting back to back in the Montrose Museum District. Our gardens are lush Gulf Coast. Breakfast is either full or continental. We are equipped with wireless internet and room to work if that's why you're here. Having opened her doors in 1990, the Inn resembles a first-class, family-owned, small European hotel with an ample brush of funky American, Houston, Texas, Montrose eclectic.

We are blocks from Downtown Houston, Rice University, University of St. Thomas, University of Houston, Texas Southern University, The Galleria, Texas Medical Center (M. D. Andersen, Herman, St. Luke's Episcopal, Diagnostic Center, Methodist, University of Texas Health Science Center, Baylor College of Medicine, Women's Hospital, etc.) Museum of Fine Arts, Menil Collection, Museum of Natural Science, Museum of Contemporary Science and many smaller art galleries. We're centrally located, good restaurants within walking distance, public transport, good walking neighborhood.

Other Amenities: Cecelia's Room: A queen size bed with featherbed, bar size refrigerators in them.

Antonio's Room: With queen-size bed, plush feather bed, and private bath.

Aunt Mae's Room: have phones, data ports, cable TV, bar size refrigerator. You can relax in the deep, claw footed Victorian tub or enjoy our Victorian ""shower contraption"".

Ruth Ann's Room: The queen size bed has a featherbed atop. All of our rooms have top-of the-line hotel bedding. All drapes, bed clothes and soft upholstery are custom sewn for Robin's Nest alone. The bathroom is a nice size, with tub and shower.

Barbara Joyce's Room: A queen bed with featherbed. A whirlpool for two, Cable tv, clock radio, internet ready, etc.

Cindy's Room: Cable tv, clock radio, internet ready. Queen Size Bed, Whirlpool for two, Private entrance, Private Porch."
