Description: Experience the informally elegant atmosphere of this 1918 Gentleman's farmhouse built in the style of the Arts and Crafts Period and furnished with antiques and fine reproductions. The handmade lace doilies and stained glass lamps found in all of the rooms and common areas provide that old world charm. The beautiful golden oak of the original hardwood floors, built-in cabinets, benches, bookcase, and oak staircase on the first floor exudes a warmth that makes you feel immediately welcomed and at home when you enter Quill Haven Country Inn.
The Bed and Breakfast's Common Living Room is equipped with a small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and sink so you have access to coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24 hours a day. The refrigerator is stocked with soda and we offer a complimentary glass of wine in the evening. You can spend a cozy evening in front of the fireplace reading a book or watching a movie from our well-stocked libraries. Feel free to relax in the outdoor hot tub located on the private backyard deck anytime during your stay. Savor the full breakfast that is served between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. in the bright, cheerful Sunroom with its large stained glass window and oak trim.
Other Amenities: All of the rooms have new private baths with showers, air conditioning, ceiling fans, color cable television with premium channels, VCR's and heated mattress pads with dual controls so no one has to argue over the settings. Many have hand stitched quilts adorning the beds and all have handmade stained glass lamps to add a warm glow to the surroundings. Each has it's own unique personality and theme offering a variety from which to choose.
