Description: A restored, historic 1896 Queen Anne Victorian. Three blocks from town centre & the Mississippi River. Seasonal gardens, cozy featherbeds, WiFi. Great travel is all about experiences, your experience, and we're hear to please. Located in Historic Downtown Hannibal, on the street once known as Millionaire Row because of its fine homes and architecture, the Garden House B&B beckons guests for R&R at a beautifully restored 1896 Victorian Queen Anne home. Built by Albert Wells Pettibone, Jr., son of the founder of the Hannibal Saw Mill and Sash Companies, the familys love for natural woods is still evident throughout the rooms today. Oak, mahogany and old grove pine adorn the parlors, fireplaces, foyers and four guest bedrooms. Innkeepers Chris and Rick greet each guest with European featherbeds, personalized breakfasts served in the signature garden dining room (a visitor attraction in itself), midday cookies on the charming porch overlooking the seasonal gardens, cotton robes, cable TV, wireless internet access and more. "It is an art apart. Saint Francis of Assisi said, ‘All saints can do miracles, but few of them can keep hotel.".-Mark Twain
