Description: For those seeking tranquility and restoration, we recommend Pine Bush House Bed & Breakfast - a charming and romantic Victorian home built in 1904. We are nestled in the hamlet of Pine Bush, just over an hour drive from New York City. We are within strolling distance of downtown, where you can experience relaxed dining or meander through numerous quaint shops, and a short scenic drive to the picturesque Shawangunk Mountains. We have recently renovated, and while the main floor is decorated with period furniture and antiques, the 4 bedroom and 1 suite offer old world charm with modern conveniences. Our many amenities include: private baths - some with steam showers, jacuzzi and bidet; fireplaces; air conditioning; plush-top mattresses with italian linens; in-room coffee/tea stations; in-room wine chillers; flat screen televisions w/ in-room movie access; and, high speed wireless internet. After you start your day with our four course, gourmet breakfast, feel free to; return to your room - where every detail has been designed to make your stay both a comfort and a delight; or, you can listen to piano music in our parlor (we have both a vintage player piano and a victrola) while enjoying a roaring fire; or, put your feet up in our library (while another fireplace keeps you toasty); or, relax on our wrap-around front porch with a glass of lemonade and homemade cookies. Whatever you choose, you will be treated to our remarkable "white glove treatment".
Other Amenities: The quiet elegance of Pine Bush House Bed and Breakfast has long made it a favorite for honeymoons, anniversaries and other special getaways. One of the innumerable ways in which we provide exemplary service to our guests is by anticipating their every need. In some cases, that need comes in the form of a request for a "permanent vacation." When this happens, generally we hear a long, contented sigh, followed by an "I wish we never had to leave."
