Description: Welcome to our farm, we hope you will find your stay warm, friendly, and relaxing. Situated on 64 acres of quiet, peaceful surrounding farmland is Penn's Valley Farm and Guest House. You will find comfort in the 1826 guest house featuring an open hearth and a unique winding staircase to a delightfully stenciled second floor.
The farm, originally owned by the three Penn brothers, was purchased by the Metzler ancestors in 1770, making it a Bicentennial farm. We have operated the Guest House as a Bed & Breakfast since 1988 and find the many quests enriching our lives as well as giving them a relaxing respite from their daily routines.
Other Amenities: As you enter the guest house, you will see the large open hearth with TV and gas log burning stove, the entrance to upstairs, a closet, dining table with chairs. There's a full kitchen for cooking and refrigerator. The sofa opens to a queen size bed for additional sleeping space.
The upstairs of the guest house, offers 2 double beds, a twin bed in the corner, and a bath with commode, vanity and shower. Farm animals are stenciled along the ceiling, and a winding stairway lead to this private second floor sleeping area.
