The peninsula offers views of four of Maine's beautiful lighthouses and the most wonderful scenery Downeast Maine has to offer.

At Acadia's Oceanside Meadows Bed and Breakfast Inn your hosts, Sonja Sundaram and Ben Walter, have two very specific goals: to ensure that you have an extraordinary experience staying at their historic Maine inn and to introduce you to their ever-growing 200 acre nature preserve. Husband and wife team of Sonja, whose background lies in geography and teaching, and Ben, whose specialties are marine biology and ecotoxicology, are committed to the preservation of this extraordinary place. Oceanside Meadows marries all that you would expect from an historic inn that has been open since 1860 with an unparalleled opportunity to explore and to understand Maine's environment and natural splendor.

Other Amenities: Also on our estate is the large 1820's farmhouse, that commands super views of the beach and offers seven further bedrooms all with private bathrooms. Additionally there is a large living room with fireplace to warm you on cool nights, a spacious dining room and kitchen, all with views of the ocean. This building is perfect for parties that want to stay in an historic inn and experience all that it offers but also want the opportunity of preparing some of their own meals. One of the bedrooms in the farmhouse offers spectacular views over the bay, has a cathedral ceiling and french doors that open onto a private verandah overlooking the beach. This large room has a king sized bed and the sound of the surf to lull you to sleep at night. All the other rooms in this historic house are individually appointed, offer ocean or meadow views, queen sized beds and private bathrooms.
