Located on a quiet side street just two blocks away from beautiful downtown Juneau the Juneau Gold Street Inn is within easy walking distance to many historical sites, scenic attractions, shopping and fine dining. Our friendly staff at Juneau Gold Street Inn is here to make your stay most comfortable and memorable as possible. Jaye Johnson, your hostess, has been with Juneau Gold Street Inn for four season's and is very pleasant and knowledgeable in the Bed and Breakfast field. She is most accommodating and will see to it that all your needs are met. Juneau's stunning setting is often compared to the fjords of Norway. The state's capital clings like a jewel to the base of two towering mountains in the heart of Alaska's Inside Passage. Alaska's capital city has a rich gold rush history, Native culture, wildlife, and a wealth of natural wonders. A mild maritime climate allows visitors to experience and enjoy outdoor activities year-round. Arts and culture abound, from galleries to theater to music of all kinds. In addition some of the best restaurants in Alaska are located here. Juneau has something for everyone including outstanding outdoor activities, natural wonders and scenery, history, culture, amenities, and a warm welcome for visitors.
Other Amenities: Each room has been newly renovated and with it's own private bathroom and full kitchen with cooking stove, microwave oven and refrigerator, satellite television, private telephone w/answering machine and alarm clock.
A full continental breakfast will be served in the main entrance area each morning complete with fresh muffins, bagels, cold and hot cereals, yogurts, juices, milk, tea and coffee, fresh fruit and much more.
Fresh towels and linens are provided daily. Each room has it's own entry with a coded secured main entrance. There is also rooms available with there own private entrances and yard. Private off street parking is available on request. The owner does not share any of the living spaces, however, they are readily available at their home which is next door. We are not completely handicapped accessible, some of the rooms have stairs so consider any mobility issues you may have before booking. Laundry facilities and barbeque grill are provided on the premises.
