Description: Howdy! Greetings from the Nissleys of Jonde Lane Farm! We invite you to enjoy the Country Comforts of our farm and home! We are a Mennonite family with one of our six children still living at home. Our farm has been in the Nissley family since it was built 146 years ago.
We have a variety of animals for you to see and enjoy-even help care for, if you want a hands on experience! There are the sheep~Wally, Molly, Dolly, and Polly~ and the goats~Billy, Millie, Tillie, and Lilly, a bunny named Flopsy, a pony named Angel, a black lab we call Ebony, and Holstein heifers, and chickens too numerous to name. Your children will love the kittens and the play area on our spacious lawn. Our porch swing and rockers are waiting for you to sit a spell and relax! Our farm is well off the road which contributes to an abundance of peace and quiet. And the sunrise and sunset from our perspective is spectacular!
Other Amenities: Our 1859 brick farmhouse was built by John's great-great-great grandfather. We offer four guest rooms in our home. The HEN HOUSE is on the main floor with a private entrance from the back porch. This room has a private bath, refrigerator, and microwave. Your grandmother would recognize the chicken memorabilia which decorates this room. On the second floor is the PIGS PALACE, HOLSTEIN HAVEN, and the RABBITS REST. These three rooms share two bathrooms in the hallway.
