Description: The Hartwell House has an ambiance that is elegant, yet warm. An attentive staff, traditional extras, and a fresh, young and creative approach to a time-tested recipe all help our guests feel a part of our home. Each of our rooms is furnished with a distinctive collection of Early American and English antiques. Most of our accommodations have French doors leading to terraces or balconies overlooking sculpted flower gardens. To preserve the quiet, romantic atmosphere, our only television is located in the sitting room and all guestroom telephones are for outgoing calls only.
Our expansive landscape offers the beauty and tranquility of the Maine countryside, yet is conveniently located within walking distance of all that Ogunquit has to offer.
