Description: The Halsey House Bed & Breakfast is a perfect romantic getaway, featuring four luxurious guest rooms as well as comfortable and graciously appointed common rooms. Built in 1829, the Halsey House is a Federal style mansion which is listed on the National Historic Registry. The inn has been meticulously restored to preserve its rich heritage as well as providing all the modern amenites one expects of a luxury inn including Jacuzzi.
The house retains its original wide-planked floors, flame-grained doors, beautiful moldings and windows. High ceilings and numerous large windows give a bright spacious atmosphere. Our Common rooms are very inviting with books and games that guests are welcome to use. The Finger Lakes region of upstate New York is well known for stunning scenery, expansive lakes, gorges, waterfalls and scenic wine trails. We are surrounded by more than 80 wineries encompassed largely within three distinct Wine Trails around Seneca, Cayuga and Keuka Lakes. There are outdoor recreational and sports activities for each of our four beautiful seasons. If golf is your passion, the Trumansburg Golf Course is three minutes from the Halsey House, and two more golf courses are less than fifteen minutes away.
