The Georgian-style home has four beautifully appointed period bedrooms with comfortable antique furnishings, combined with warm & personal attention from owners Clyde & Janet Mcmurray, which will make your stay a pampered & memorable event. Sitting in a canopy of oak trees, you may prefer to leisurely relax in the garden hot tub or in the screened-in back porch furnished with turn-of-the century wicker, or perhaps sit in the gazebo, or on the patio absorbing the smells and sounds of nature as well as a bubbly water fountain. Our full renowned gourmet breakfast in a Victorian setting will be served in the authentic antique furnished dining room. A Texas Main Street city, Bowie offers many antique and collectible shops, tea rooms, 2nd Monday Trades Days, as well as many other festivities during the year. Tour several close by wineries, swim, fish, or boat at Amon G. Carter Lake & there is a nearby 18-hole golf course, if that's your pleasure.
