Description: This large country home in a picturesque setting with expansive lawns and flower gardens sits along a quiet rural road near Skaneateles, eastern gateway to the Finger Lakes. Awake in the morning to the sound of birds singing and view wildlife from your bedroom window. Sit by the flower garden under the sycamore trees, relax on the porch swing, or wander on hiking trails through acres of woodlands with meandering brooks. In the winter our hiking trails are groomed for cross-country skiing. Your hosts, Marge and Bob, actively manage the hardwood and conifer forests on their property for wildlife, recreation, and timber products.
Other Amenities: Guests enjoy a spacious family room with wood burning stove, grand piano, TV, VCR, stereo and reading library. Fox Ridge Bed & Breakfast offers three bedrooms, one with private bath and one with a fireplace. Rooms are individually decorated with handmade quilts, floral wallpaper and some have a four-poster bed.
