Dos Vaqueros offers guests the thrill and excitement of life on this historic working cattle ranch. You'll see real cowboys rope, brand, and move cattle - 1500 head of cattle on the ranch.
Getting Together Dos Vaqueros is located on one of the great old cattle ranches in South Texas. Founded in 1834, with land grants from both Mexico and the Republic of Texas, the sprawling Rooke Ranch has been owned by descendants of Daniel and Catherine O'Driscoll for over six generations.
Other Amenities: The lodge has four bedrooms with private baths and cable TV in each room. Also there is a large lounge area with a fireplace, dining area, antique pool table, wet bar, VCR, outdoor deck, patio, and swimming pool.The three story landmark ranch house is currently being restored and should be completed in one year.
This historic 100 year old home will accommodate another ten guests with five bedrooms and five baths. Dos Vaqueros offers exclusive first-class lodging for individuals, families, small corporate groups, seminars, and retreats.
