As soon as you walk through the gate, you feel like you’ve walked into the past. Guests enjoy sitting on the second floor balcony and listening to the “clip-clop” of horse-drawn carriages passing below. The Inn’s new de Palma building – named for another of its early landowners – offers a state-of-the-art meeting and function space, with its modern comforts hidden behind historic decor and old-fashioned ambience. Romance packages at the Inn go beyond just weddings – they make anniversaries or brief getaways just as special.
Other Amenities: Casa de Solana features ten guest rooms and suites, each unique and individually appointed. Every room has a color-cable television, telephone, modem hook-up, ac/heat controls, private bath, and a radio alarm clock with CD player. For added romance, 8 of the 10 accommodations have fireplaces and most have whirlpool tubs. Many also have a writing desk and refrigerator. Suites include a queen sized sleep sofa in the living area.
