Description: Casa de Siesta is a Bed and Breakfast with special and unique architecture: Having just been completed in January 2000 our facilities are built with the latest materials, but in keeping with some of the old traditions, as to styling and architecture. We would like to show you some of the unique aspects of the architecture, furnishings, and artifacts of the rooms: All the building materials and decor of Casa de Siesta are representative of Mexican, North American and Anglo cultures of the Southwest: The basic building is of cement block, rather than adobe (which would be the material of choice in the old southwest) due to the fact that we are in a Hurricane area and the Island would flood would such an occurrence happen. We did use plaster on the inside and outside, rather than use wallboard, tape, texture and or stucco.
Other Amenities: We feature a beautiful dinning room where our guests can enjoy their complementary continental breakfast. We hope to create a quiet adult retreat, therefore we do not accept children under 12 years of age. The rooms have either 1 king bed or two standard size beds. All rooms have showers, refrigerators, and TV. There are phones in the rooms, for guests to use.Casa de Siesta is idal for those special events, parties, and business meetings.
