Description: Experience Legendary Napa Valley Lodging at the Brannan Cottage Inn at the top of Wine Country, in Calistoga, California. This charming Victorian Wine Country Cottage bed and breakfast, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1860 by Samuel Brannan, Calistoga's founder and one of California's early entrepreneurs. Of the original 25 cottages, only three remain and the Inn has the only cottage remaining at its original location according to the town layout developed by Brannan.
Distinguished by its intricate gingerbread, gable-board and scalloped ridge cresting, the bed and breakfast features a broad wraparound porch and a private courtyard surrounded by ornamental gardens, with two separate lawn areas. We have a total of six rooms, three standard one bedroom units, one deluxe one bedroom unit, and two mini-suites with sitting rooms (each of which can sleep up to four guests). All rooms have queen size beds and private baths and entrance/exits. Five of the six also have ceiling fans and fireplaces. We offer a full breakfast each morning. On occasion, we have local wineries pour their finest wines on our patio or in the parlor.
Other Amenities: Brannan Cottage Inn offers six spacious, comfortable rooms, each with garden views. All guest quarters have private entrances, private baths, and queen-size beds. Every room has a refrigerator and clock radio. Our two mini-suites have sitting rooms with televisions as well. Air conditioning and ceiling fans ensure comfort during summertime visits. Down comforters and fireplaces are available during the cooler months.
