Hosted By Linda Wendeborn
Located in Juneau, AK
7 rooms
$125 to $275 per night

Description: In 1906, gold rush pioneer John Olds built one of the grandest homes in all of Juneau, high on the hillside, overlooking the bustling waterfront. Painstakingly restored to its original grandeur, today's Alaska's Capital Inn Bed and Breakfast blends turn of the century elegance with contemporary comfort. The Inn is also home to your hosts Linda and Mark. Having lived, fished, and paddled around in Southeast Alaska for more than half of their lives, they are an excellent resource and are happy to share their local knowledge!
Other Amenities: Your stay with us will be a true bed and breakfast experience. The aroma of fresh roasted coffee announces breakfast, a multi-course affair, served in the formal dining room amidst rays of the morning sun. The menu may include sauteed apples in a hot cinnamon sauce or fresh local raspberries and cream. From the bedside diaries, guest's favorite entrees are the dungeness crab eggs benedict on home baked rolls, or the lemon souffle hotcakes and thick cut smoked ham. Linger and enjoy the coffee and conversation in a unrushed atmosphere. |
