Located in an historic residential neighborhood, the inn is within walking distance to the Bay and the wonderful restaurants in Old Town. And within short driving distances, the Lost Coast and Redwood National Park, jewels of the Redwood Coast, await you!
Named for the Kingfisher bird of legend who calmed the Winter Solstice seas for mariners, the Inn provides a serene respite for its guests. We invite you to take a tour of our 1920's Guest House and do look forward to having you as our guests. For the many guests who have returned time and again and all the referrals past guests have sent us, we are most grateful. They are the highest compliments innkeepers can ever receive!

We do not use hydrogenated oils or any transfats in any of our dishes.
Breakfasts served with sausage or bacon, if desired, fruit, choice of juice, coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Vegetarians happily accommodated to Continental or Low Carb breakfasts available upon request. Omega 3 eggs, Smart Balance, organic milk, organic sugar (unrefined) and organic granola are staples in our kitchen.
The Camellia Room: This is the largest room available in the house and has a Queen Antique French style 4 poster bed, armoire with guest robes, TV and VCR. A rollaway 3/4 bed can easily fit for an additional person. Southside windows overlooking the garden. Large, light bathroom with 5' clawfoot tub with Dial-massage shower.
